# How to Make It:
01 - Set oven to 350°F. Grease and line an 8-inch round pan with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
03 - Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
04 - Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
05 - Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture in three parts, starting and ending with flour. Stir until just combined.
06 - Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth surface. Bake 28 to 32 minutes until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
07 - Allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack until completely cool.
08 - Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt, mixing until smooth and fluffy.
